ISLAMABAD: The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Raheel Sharif called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday (today).
The COAS has informed the Premier about ongoing offensive the operation Zarb-e-Azab besides that both the high-ups of the country discussed over all security situation of the country.
The Army Chief briefed the PM about security situation on the western and the eastern border of the country as well.
Sources said that the Army Chief Raheel Shairf and Premier Nawaz Sharif also discussed situation emitted out from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) led political sit-inns.
The Radio Pakistan reported that the COAS and the PM agreed that crisis must be resolved at earliest in the best national interest of the country.
