DHAKA: Sri Lankan team has set a normal 180 runs target facing only 40 overs in the first One-Day International (ODI) against Bangladesh at Shere Bangla Stadium in Dhaka.
Sri Lankan batsmen Sachithra Senanayake and Thisara Perera set 82 runs partnership at the ninth Wicket.
Senanayake scored 30 runs and Perera made 80 runs not out against Bangladeshi bowlers in the first ODI.
Besides, Bangladesh fielders also dropped two main catches of both players on crucial time of the match.
Rubel Hossain took two wickets giving 37 runs in his 8 overs against Sri Lankan tigers.
