QUETTA: The Chief Minister of Balochistan, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch, has signaled that all necessary arrangements have been completed for conducting local bodies’ election across the province on December 7.
Talking to media in Quetta‚ the chief minister said that civil administration and Frontier Corps and Army are fully prepared to provide foolproof security to the voters and polling staff.
The Chief Minister said about 55,000 security personnel have been deployed to avert any untoward incident.
Meanwhile‚ five thousand army personnel will be ready to meet any eventuality as quick response force.
To a question‚ Dr Abdul Malik said that participation of over twenty two thousand candidates in the polls is a good omen for democracy.
