Lahore: Information Minister Pervez Rashid on Saturday crticized Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and its chairman Imran Khan and termed a protest against US drone attacks and NATO supplies a dual policy.
Talking to media in Lahore, he said that on one side‚ the PTI as a party is protesting against the drone attacks while its provincial government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would remain aloof.
The PTI should “stop taking dollars from the US” before issuing threats to stop Nato supplies, he said.
Rashid said that Pakistan is a democratic country where everyone has right to favour or oppose any government decision and policy.
He said the drone attacks were not acceptable to Pakistan in any case. Similarly‚ the foreign nationals‚ who were sitting in Pakistan‚ were also not acceptable as they were a challenge for our peace and sovereignty.
