KARACHI: An Islamic political party, Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC), on Sunday has demanded the Afghan Taliban chief Mullah Omar to order Pakistani Taliban for stoppage of terrorism in Pakistan.
Sunni Ittehad Council sought support of Mullah Omar in establishment of peace as well as urged to play their role in removing insurgency in Pakistan.
The council chairman said that Mullah Omar should order Pakistan Taliban for stopping violent attacks in Pakistan, local media reported.
He said that the Pakistani Taliban acting against the principles of Jihad, an Islamic term for a religious duty of Muslims refers to struggle against those who do not believe in the Islam.
The spokesperson also seeked Afghan Taliban chief’s orders to the Pakistani outfit for accepting the Constitution of Pakistan.
