KARACHI: Prominent leader of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Mumtaz Ali Khan Bhutto refused the expectation for becoming a candidate for governorship in Sindh province and termed as dummy post.
Mumtaz Bhutto rejected the rumours pertaining his powerful candidacy for the key post in Sindh province of Pakistan and says he does not want any powerless charge which only provides luxuries to the person via public treasury.
While talking with a local newspaper, Bhutto claimed that several rulers of the country from late General Zia-ul-Haq till General Pervez Musharraf offered key post during their tenures while Pakistan People’s Party chairperson, late Benazir Bhutto wanted to hand over ambassadorship to me.
He said that statement made by Mian Muhammad Soomra for his line up for governorship is baseless as nobody initiated discussion regarding his appointment on the key post.
The PML-N leader said that he always emphasis on the issues related to national reforms instead of gaining a governmental post over ‘reconciliation table’.
