Karachi: Pakistan hasĀ been badly affected by the floods occuring last week. On 14th August, the very day of its Independence celebration, the people of Pakistan were unable to celebrate and were battling with floods.
World Health Organisation has installed 6 medical camps in the rain affected of Karachi on 6th August 2013. Once the risk of water level rise was down, there was threat of increase came about in districts of Muzaffargarh-Punjab, Narowal, Rawalpindi and Layyah. Two villages of Alipur in Muzaffargarh had been swept away.
Warning was issued in Lahore, Charsadda and Peshawar because of rise of water level in rivers Chenab and Swat.

CNN also shows helplessness of an old lady carrying utensils while surrounded by flood water.
