Beijing: Six people were killed and seven others injured after a head-on collision between a coach and a truck Saturday in east China’s Jiangxi Province, police said.
The coach, carrying about 50 passengers, crossed the center line and ran into the truck coming form opposite direction at about 9 a.m. on a section of national road in Pingxiang City, said a spokesman with the provincial police department.
Four people died on the spot, including the truck driver. Two passengers died on their way to the hospital, rescuers said.
Police are investigating the cause of the tragedy.
