ISLAMABAD: With power shortage reduced to about 3000 MegaWatt in the country, the federal government claims that load shedding has been reduced throughout the country.
“Power outages have been reduced and energy policy will soon be announced to overcome the crisis,” Adviser for Water and Power Dr Musadiq Malik said.
“The government is working to upgrade electricity system throughout the country to reduce load-shedding,” he further said.
At present, the country is producing 14000 MW electricity while the demand is reaching 17000 MW.
The adviser informed that ministry was working to upgrade electricity system throughout the country to reduce load-shedding.
Facing an array of complaints from various provinces, he assured to provide power to all the provinces equally.
