SUKKUR: A local court on Thursday ordered registration of case against former Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah his daughter Nafisa Shah and 13 others for beating a lawyer for challenging his the ex-CM nomination papers.
On Wednesday, a group of lawyers allegedly belonging to Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) manhandled their colleague attorney for submitting objections over former Shah nomination papers.
The lawyers allegedly encircled Manzoor Ansari, president Khairpur district bar, when he came out of Sindh High Court Sukkur bench and beat him severally.
A session court’s judge while hearing the torture case ordered the police to register case against the ex-CM his daughter Nafisa Shah and 13 others.
