LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PML-Q) on Sunday unveiled its manifesto for the upcoming general election scheduled to be held on May 11.
The seven-point manifesto emphasizes on education for all‚ combating extremism‚ eliminating terrorism and uprooting corruption from the country.
S. M. Zafar, the senior party leader, presented the manifesto and said that his party would provide standard education to all after coming into power.
PML-Q Chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said that there were photographs of Quaid-e-Azam‚ Fatima Jinnah and Allama Iqbal with a view to transform Pakistan into a public welfare state.
He said during his time they adopted bold decisions and applied them which brought respect and dignity to Pakistan.
