A three-member bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry resumed the proceeding into the suo motu notice pertaining to the formation of an inquiry commission over NAB Chairman Admiral (retd) Fasih Bokhari‘s letter to the country’s president.
During hearing, Naveed Rasool Advocate, the counsel of Bokhari, raised objection of the bench and citing Arsalan Iftikhar case requested the chief justice to detach himself from hearing or shifted the case to another bench.

The bench also said that Rasool had not provided the court with legal reason to shift the case to another bench.
The bench, in its order said that Bokhair would be indicted on April 2.
