Islamabad: The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Friday rejected the inquiry report of Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) into fleeing of Shahrukh Jatoi, the central accuse into the murder of Shahzeb Khan, and ordered the authority’s Director General to submit answer before the court within three days.
A three-member bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry resumed the hearing of case on Friday.
During the hearing, the FIA officials informed the court that there was no exit stamp on Shahrukh Jatoi’s passport, adding he flew Dubai in a forgery manner.
The court rejected the FIA report and remarked that Karachi has become a home of human trafficking.
The bench concluded the hearing of the suo motu notice into the murder of the Karachi’s youngster and ordered the Anti Terrorism Court (ATI) to hear the case on daily basis and complete it within seven days.
The bench has also directed the trial court to keep the High Court and the Supreme Court informed.
