Islamabad: The International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) on Saturday postponed January 13-15 exams because of the January 14 long march to be led by the Tehrik-i-Minhajul Quran (TMQ) chief Tahirul Qadri.
The university spokesperson said that entry test for spring session 2013 and semester exams of were put off because of unexpected law-and-order situation.
The exams would be conducted on January 16, 17 and 20 respectively, said the spokesperson.
Meanwhile, 3,000 personnel from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Frontier Constabulary and Punjab police are set to arrive in Islamabad today as a part of the security arrangements for the long march.
