Tokyo: Fire erupted in northern Japan’s nuclear atomic reactor plant, local media said. According to local media, the fire erupted in Fokoshima Nuclear Atomic Reactor Plant No 4. Heavy smoke has been reported after the fire.
Two employees, who were working in the plant, have also been reportedly missing after the fire, the media said.
Japanese media said that strategies are being made to throw water on the fire through helicopter while temperature in plant no 5 and 6 is also rising.
Earlier, Japanese authorities evacuated two men safely under the rubble after four days. Both have been rushed to hospital for treatment.
