Lahore: Law Minister Punjab Rana Sanaullah on Wednesday said that the Young Doctors Association has ended their strike continuing from last 15 days.
Talking to media representatives, Rana Sanaullah said that all arrested doctors would be released.
Punjab government launched a crackdown against young doctors and arrested 33 of them. Almost 24 of the doctors were released on Tuesday while others would be released on Wednesday (today).
The breakthrough came after the meeting of senior doctors with Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif.
On the other hand, the Young Doctors spokesman Dr Zulqurnain denied Sanaullah’s remarks and said that instead of outdoor and indoor operations, the doctors are resuming their services in emergency wards across the hospitals in Punjab.
