Karachi: Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry on Saturday said that the supremacy of constitution is most important for the country.
Addressing a ceremony regarding enrollment of lawyers in Karachi, chief justice said that the Constitution was a living document and all organs of the state should perform their duties in accordance with the Constitution.
Iftikhar Chaudhry said that it was necessary for all organs of the state including the Parliament, judiciary and administration to work within the parameters of the Constitution.
“Judiciary is doing its level best to ensure implementation of the constitution,” he added.
