Karachi Suffers from Extreme Heat, Death Toll Reaches 712

Karachi: The extreme heat in Karachi has left the residents in distress, with the death toll reaching 712.

According to the Meteorological Department’s report, the blockage of sea breezes has led to oppressive heat and humidity, causing unbearable conditions for the city’s residents.

The Edhi Foundation reported that 127 bodies were brought to the Edhi morgue yesterday, while 141 bodies were brought on June 25.

Similarly, 135 bodies were transferred to the Edhi morgue on June 24, 144 on June 23, and 90 on June 22.

A spokesperson for the Edhi Foundation stated that on June 21, 79 bodies were brought in for bathing and shrouding.
