Islamabad: Jordan’s team has arrived in Pakistan after 18 years as part of the FIFA World Cup series.
According to the news agency, Jordan’s team reached the federal capital Islamabad from Muscat for the qualifiers of the FIFA World Cup 2026. Dr. Maen Khreasat, the Ambassador of Jordan, welcomed the football team. Officials from the Jordanian embassy and PFF officials were also present at the reception.
It should be noted that the Jordanian football team will showcase their skills on Pakistani soil after 18 years. Prior to this, the Jordanian football team visited Pakistan in 2006.
After arriving in Pakistan, the Jordanian team has been escorted to the hotel under tight security from the airport.
The match between Pakistan and Jordan is scheduled for March 21st. The match will be held at the Jinnah Football Stadium in Islamabad at 2 p.m.
