COAS Asim Munir Meets Saudi Crown Prince MBS

Rawalpindi: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir engaged in high-level discussions with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz during his official visit to Saudi Arabia, focusing on enhancing military cooperation between the two nations.

During the meeting, the discussions revolved around a wide range of issues of mutual interest, with a particular focus on regional peace and security, as well as bolstering bilateral defence and security cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia., as highlighted in a press release issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Highlighting the deep-rooted and brotherly relations between the two nations, HRH Prince Mohammad Bin Salman underscored the historical camaraderie shared by KSA and Pakistan, emphasizing their unwavering support for each other. The Crown Prince expressed his keenness to further fortify the existing bilateral ties, assuring that KSA will continue to stand by Pakistan in the future.

In response, COAS General Syed Asim Munir expressed gratitude to the Saudi leadership for their warm sentiments and steadfast support towards Pakistan. He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening the bond between the two countries and fostering cooperation in various domains for the mutual benefit of both nations.
