Pakistan’s Tallest Man Naseer Soomro Hospitalized Due to Illness

Karachi: Naseer Soomro, renowned as one of the world’s tallest men and a proud Pakistani citizen, is currently facing a significant health challenge as he grapples with a respiratory illness. The tall man, known for his remarkable stature, has recently been compelled to shift from a private hospital back to his home amid his sudden illness.

The 59-year-old Soomro was shifted to a private hospital in Karachi’s Gulistan-e-Jauhar area after his health deteriorated. He has been suffering from respiratory illness and joint problems for several years. Nasir Soomro was once included in the list of tallest men in the world but was replaced by Zia Rashid.

Soomro was unable to undergo surgery due to financial constraints. His family had appealed for financial assistance, but it did not receive attention. This Pakistani citizen has previously received medical assistance. His nephew has requested the government for urgent treatment to save his life.

Nasir Soomro hails from Shikarpur district in Sindh and is an employee of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA). Standing at 7 feet 9 inches, Soomro was once Pakistan’s tallest man. However, he has been surpassed by Zia Rashid, who, according to later information, stands at 8 feet tall.
