Elon Musk is No Longer the World’s Richest Person

Washington: Elon Musk, the owner of companies like Tesla, SpaceX, and X (formerly Twitter), is no longer the world’s richest person.

According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Elon Musk has incurred a loss of $31 billion, after which he is no longer the richest person in the world, and Amazon’s owner, Jeff Bezos, has taken his place as the wealthiest person in the world.

The index reveals that Jeff Bezos’ assets have increased by $23 billion this year, bringing his total wealth to $200 billion, while Elon Musk’s assets have decreased by $31 billion, leaving him with $198 billion.

According to financial institutions, the value of Amazon shares has increased by over 18% this year. Jeff Bezos himself holds the highest number of shares in the company, while Tesla’s shares have seen a decrease of 24%. It is said that the decrease in Elon Musk’s wealth occurred after he was fined by an American judge in January.

Reports indicate that after these two richest individuals, Bernard Arnault, CEO of LVMH, is ranked third with $197 billion, while Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg is at the fourth spot with $179 billion.

The founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates, is in fifth place with assets worth $150 billion. In this race, India’s Mukesh Ambani is in the eleventh position with assets worth $115 billion.
