Lahore: The Counter Terrorism Court extended the judicial remand of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activist Sanam Javaid and former Member of National Assembly (MNA) Aliya Hamza for 14 days in the May 9 incitement and riot case.
Lahore police presented arrested individuals Sanam Javaid and Aliya Hamza before the Counter-Terrorism Court in Lahore upon the expiration of their judicial remand in the case filed at Shadman Police Station.
The case was heard by Judge Muhammad Naveed Iqbal of the Counter Terrorism Court. The court, while extending the judicial remand of Sanam Javaid and Aliya Hamza for 14 days, ordered them to be presented again on March 11.
It is worth mentioning that the police had requested an extension in the judicial remand of Sanam Javaid and Aliya Hamza.
