Peshawar: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to form the government with Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Pakistan (MWM) in the federal and Punjab and with Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
While addressing a press conference, PTI Secretary Information, Raoof Hasan stated that on the instructions of party Chairman Imran Khan, it has been decided to form the government with MWM in the federal and Punjab, and with JI in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, respectively.
He mentioned that the party chairman has assigned the responsibility of liaising with various political parties to establish contacts. The PTI Chairman has conveyed a message that the country is being handed over to the money launderers, and we have limited time. Those who have been successful in the general elections should be allowed to form the government.
Senior leaders from PTI, including Ali Amin Gandapur, have engaged with Jamaat-e-Islami’s vice president, Liaqat Baloch, to discuss potential alliances in KP. Additionally, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali and Azam Khan have held discussions with Liaquat Baloch regarding the prevailing political landscape following the election results.
The move comes in line with PTI’s founder’s directive to party members to engage with other political entities in the interest of forming a stable government. As negotiations unfold, both parties are deliberating on key issues and potential areas of collaboration to ensure effective governance in KP.
