Karachi: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) expressed its gratitude to Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi’s leader Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman for his press conference in which he withdrew from the PS-129 seat despite being declared victorious in Form 47.
A spokesperson for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf said on behalf of PTI that they express gratitude to Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman for exposing the criminal manipulation and rigging in the election results. The Election Commission has committed actions against the constitution and national interests by tarnishing the transparency of the people’s mandate.
He said that the Chief Election Commissioner opposed electronic voting machines to violate the sanctity of the people’s mandate. He demanded that Sikandar Sultan Raja and other commission members involved in shameful rigging against the people’s mandate resign immediately.
It is worth noting that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s candidates for PS-129, Saif Bari, and NA-250 candidate Riaz Haider, along with other leaders, reached Idara Noor-e-Haq to meet Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman and expressed gratitude for exposing the rigging of the Election Commission by withdrawing from PS-129 seat.
