Lahore: In the aftermath of Pakistan’s general elections, results from various constituencies are emerging, with significant developments observed in NA-130 Lahore, where Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif has emerged victorious over Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-backed independent candidate Yasmin Rashid.
According to unofficial and preliminary results from all 376 polling stations in NA-130 Lahore, Nawaz Sharif garnered 171,024 votes, securing a decisive win over Yasmin Rashid, who obtained 115,043 votes.
Meanwhile, in NA-196, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari clinched victory, as per unofficial results from all 303 polling stations, with Bilawal securing 85,370 votes.
In Lahore’s NA-122 constituency, PTI-backed independent candidate Sardar Latif Khosa emerges victorious according to unofficial results, defeating PML-N’s Khawaja Saad Rafique. Khosa secured 117,109 votes while Rafique remained second with 77,709 votes.
Additionally, in NA-119 Lahore, PML-N’s chief organizer Maryam Nawaz emerged victorious, securing 83,855 votes from all 338 polling stations. In NA-127 Lahore, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Attaullah Tarar secured victory over Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-backed independent candidate Malik Zaheer Abbas Khokhar.
These results signify pivotal wins for various political parties, shaping the landscape of Pakistan’s political dynamics in the aftermath of the elections.
