Sibi: Four people lost their lives in a blast that occurred during a rally of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Sibi, Balochistan.
According to news agencies, the blast occured on Jinnah Road in the Sibi area of Balochistan when a rally of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf was passing through. Four people lost their lives, and six others were injured in the blast.
Upon receiving information, rescue teams reached the site of the incident and transferred the bodies of the dead and injured to the hospital. Authorities state that those in critical condition among the injured will be moved to Quetta for further treatment.
Meanwhile, the provincial health department has declared an emergency in hospitals in Sibi, Quetta, and other regions after the blast during the PTI rally. The MS of Sibi Hospital reported that four injured individuals are being treated at DHQ Hospital.
On the other hand, according to the Election Commission spokesperson, taking notice of the blast during a political party’s rally in Sibi, Balochistan, the Election Commission has sought an immediate report from the Chief Secretary and IG Balochistan.
Deputy Commissioner Sibi, Khudai Rahim Mirwani, stated that the explosive material was planted in a motorcycle. The blast resulted in four deaths and six injuries. The treatment of the six injured individuals is ongoing, and law enforcement agencies are conducting further investigations.
