Hafizabad: Nawaz Sharif, the leader of the Muslim League-N, has stated that if he had not been repeatedly ousted from power, Pakistan would have become an Asian Tiger today. He mentioned that in 2017 if five judges had not dismissed the representative of 25 crore people for refusing to take a salary from his son, there would be no unemployment crisis in Hafizabad today.
Addressing a gathering in Hafizabad, Nawaz Sharif mentioned that if he had not been repeatedly arrested and not removed from the prime minister’s office, Pakistan would have held a unique position globally today, and Pakistan would have become an Asian Tiger.
He further stated that due to his refusal to take a salary from his son, he was ousted from power. If their government had continued, there would have been no inflation and unemployed youth today, every home would have had bright lights, agriculture would have been flourishing, and electricity would have not been expensive.
Nawaz Sharif asserted that had he not been entangled in false cases, Pakistan’s position would have been much higher today. He emphasized that the respect for the green passport would have been greater, and Pakistan would have achieved the status of an Asian Tiger.
He pointed out that during his tenure, the country faced challenges such as load shedding, terrorism, and daily bomb blasts. He said his government successfully addressed these issues.
He highlighted that after the construction of motorways during his tenure, travel time has been significantly reduced.
Nawaz Sharif expressed his vision to stand Pakistan on its own feet, pledging to bring progress to Hafizabad to the extent that there would be no difference between Hafizabad and Lahore.
