Islamabad: Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has said that he’s being punished for exposing Donald Lu and Gen. Bajwa. He remarked that Nawaz Sharif has never played a match without biased umpires of his choice, and also ruled out the possibility of an alliance with PPP.
Speaking to the journalists at Adiala Jail, Imran Khan said he is being punished for exposing Donald Lu and General Bajwa, and everything is happening under the London Plan. Khan has previously claimed an agreement was signed in London to oust him from the Prime Minister’s office and imprison him so that PTI could be crushed and Nawaz Sharif could be brought back into power.
Imran Khan remarked that Nawaz Sharif has never played a match without biased umpires of his choice, and even now, two umpires are standing, one of whom “gave a no-ball”, said Imran Khan referring to the Supreme Court’s verdict that stripped the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) of its electoral symbol, the bat.
He emphasized that for the hearing of the case of PTI’s electoral symbol, the bat, there should have been a five-member bench, and the Supreme Court is also proceeding under the London agreement.
Imran Khan pointed out that all cases against Sharif have been ended and highlighted instances where Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz, and PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari obtained bulletproof vehicles from the ToshaKhana, questioning the lack of accountability.
The founder of PTI stated that Toshakhana records show that Nawaz Sharif bought a Mercedes car for 600,000, and Maryam Nawaz bought a BMW car. All their cases are closed, but for us when we are acquitted in one case, another case is registered without any delay, he said.
Imran Khan ruled out the possibility of any electoral alliance with the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), stating that there could be no electoral alliance with Bilawal.
The founder of PTI also demanded an open trial of the cipher case for transparency so that people could know the truth.
