Islamabad: The Caretaker Ministry of Finance, in a statement, has declared new prices for petroleum products, announcing a reduction of 8 rupees per liter in the price of petrol.
According to media reports, the Ministry of Finance issued a notification on Monday regarding the new prices of petroleum products. Following this adjustment, the new petrol price is set at 259.34 rupees per liter, while the diesel price has been maintained at 276.21 rupees per liter.
As per the issued notification, the price of kerosene has been reduced by 1.97 rupees per liter, bringing the new price to 186.86 rupees per liter.
It is important to note that the application of these new prices took effect last night 12:00 AM, and all petrol pumps are obligated to provide petrol at the new rates.
