Karachi: The Sindh Premier League will kick off on January 25 at the National Stadium in Karachi and will continue until February 5.
A formal ceremony regarding the league was held at the Governor House, where Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori was the special guest. Participants in the event included Javed Miandad, Moin Khan, Umar Akmal, Abdul Razzaq, and others.
Governor Sindh, during his address, stated that the Sindh Premier League (SPL) would pave the way for the promotion of cricket in the province. The league will provide opportunities for talented young cricketers from Sindh to showcase their eligibility.
Expressing his thoughts, Javed Miandad said, “It is my desire that the Sindh League progresses well. I am always present for the success of the league.”
Moin Khan mentioned his happiness about the flourishing cricket scene in Sindh, anticipating that the league would benefit young cricketers on a daily basis. Establishing cricket academies in every region of Sindh was considered a good decision for the development of cricket, as stated by ouin Khan.
