New York: If you often use Google Maps to navigate roads while driving, here’s good news—a useful feature is being added to it soon.
The Three-Dimensional Buildings feature, named “3D Buildings,” will soon be available to users on Google Maps.
While the option for 3D Buildings in the Google Maps app has been available for quite some time in the Layers section, it couldn’t be used in Navigation Mode.
However, now the company is facilitating the use of this feature in Navigation Mode.
According to a Google report, the option for 3D Buildings during navigation is available to some users in Google Maps’ Android and iOS apps. This feature will be particularly helpful during travels in cities, making it easier to know which route to take to reach the destination.
To view buildings in 3D shape, users need to turn on the 3D layer in the Map Details section of the app.
