Lahore: Six players of the Pakistani T20 squad have departed from Lahore to Auckland for their participation in the five-match series against New Zealand.
According to details, the T20 series of five matches between Pakistan and New Zealand will be played from January 12 to 21 in Auckland, Hamilton, Dunedin, and Christchurch. The six players of the Pakistani squad include Abbas Afridi, Azam Khan, Fakhar Zaman, Haseebullah Khan, Iftikhar Ahmed, and Sahibzada Farhan.
Along with these six players, nine additional players, including Ahmed Shahzad, Arif Yaqoob, Kamran Ghulam, Mohammad Amir Khan, Mohammad Haris, Mohammad Imran, Omair Bin Yousuf, Sajjad Ali Junior, and Shadab Khan, participated in the series’ preparation camp.
In the four-day camp held at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, under the supervision of high-performance coach and camp commander Yasser Arafat, they engaged in match simulations and various practice sessions to refine their skills in T20 cricket.
