Speaking at the Induction and Operationalization Ceremony held at an operational base of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), General Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff, lauded the PAF’s technological advancements and operational excellence. The ceremony, attended by key military officials, showcased the newly inducted weapon systems and defense assets, marking a significant leap in Pakistan’s aerial defense capabilities.

The Chief Guest, General Syed Asim Munir, was warmly received by Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff, PAF, upon his arrival at the base. A smartly turned-out contingent of the Pakistan Air Force presented a Guard of Honour to the Chief of Army Staff, adding a ceremonial touch to the occasion.

In his speech, Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir praised the operational preparedness of the Pakistan Air Force, incorporating state-of-the-art weapon systems. He emphasized the significance of indigenization and human resource development, endorsing PAF’s dedication to technological advancements and operational excellence. Notably, COAS reassured that the Armed Forces of Pakistan are fully prepared to thwart any aggression.

General Munir also expressed appreciation for the Pakistan Air Force’s efforts in transporting relief goods for the victims of the Gaza conflict, highlighting the force’s commitment to humanitarian causes.

During the ceremony, the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, highlighted the latest inductions in the PAF’s arsenal. These include J-10C fighter jets, air mobility platforms, modern radars, unmanned aerial systems, loitering munition capabilities, and long-range vectors. These additions significantly enhance Pakistan’s aerial defense capabilities, ensuring a robust response to emerging challenges.

Air Chief Marshal Sidhu also emphasized the progress achieved in emerging domains such as Cyber and Space technologies, highlighting the establishment of the Center of Excellence for Air Mobility & Aviation Safety, College of Air Defence, and the operationalization of the National Aerospace Science and Technology Park.

The ceremony concluded with a spectacular airshow featuring various PAF fighter jets, training aircraft, and UAVs. The static display offered attendees a close look at the diverse PAF fighter, air mobility, and UAV fleet, showcasing the nation’s commitment to maintaining a robust and technologically advanced defense posture.
