Tel Aviv: The Israeli Army Radio has announced that the Israeli forces have decided to withdraw 5 military brigades from the Gaza Strip, 2 of which will withdraw this week.
According to the Army Radio, after assessing the situation and military operations, the Israeli forces have decided to pull out their 5 brigades from the Gaza Strip.
They indicated that two of the five brigades would be withdrawn by this and returned to reserve forces. The IDF stated that three others would be carried out on an undisclosed date.
It is noteworthy that earlier, Israel had deployed the Golan Brigade to Gaza to face off against Hamas. However, due to the formidable resistance from the Hamas resistance fighters, this brigade also had to retreat.
It is noteworthy that the Central Bureau of Statistics in Palestine has confirmed that the Palestinian death toll in 2023 is the highest since 1948, with a total of 22,404 martyrs. From October 7 onwards, 22,141 martyrs have been included, of which 98% were in the Gaza Strip. This includes approximately 9,000 children and 6,500 women.
