Islamabad: The Caretaker government has decided to keep the prices of petroleum products unchanged from 1st January to 15th January., and the Ministry of Finance has issued a notification regarding the change in petroleum product prices.
According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Finance, the current prices of petroleum products will remain unchanged from January 1, 2024, to January 15, 2024. Following this, the per-liter price of petrol will stay at Rs267.34, and that of high-speed Diesel will be Rs276.21.
As per the Ministry of Finance, the prices have been kept stable in line with the recommendations of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).
However, as per the issued notification, the price of kerosene oil has been reduced by Rs. 2.19 per liter, bringing it down to Rs 188.83 per liter, whereas the price of light diesel oil has been increased by Rs. 1.11 per liter, bringing it up to Rs 165.83 per liter.
