NA-122: Written Decision Issued to Reject Imran Khan’s Nomination Papers

A written decision has been issued to reject the nomination papers from constituency NA-122 in Lahore for the former chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). According to the eight-page written decision by the Returning Officer for NA-122, the papers were rejected due to the former chairman’s conviction.

According to the decision, the former chairman of PTI has been disqualified for five years, and the disqualification is not suspended or annulled.

The former chairman of PTI was disqualified under Article 63 of the Constitution, and the complainant’s objections are legal. Therefore, his nomination papers for NA-122 are rejected.

It should be noted that former PML-N MPA Mian Naseer Ahmed had raised objections against Imran Khan’s nomination from the constituency.
