Karachi: A fire broke out in the building of Parsa Tower at Shahrah-e-Faisal. Flames soared high, and four fire brigade vehicles engaged in extinguishing the fire, with ambulance services on standby.
According to sources, a sudden fire erupted from the roof of Parsa Tower, after which people inside the building started coming out in fear. As a result, three people have suffered minor injuries from falling. The cause of the fire has not been determined yet.
According to police reports, the fire erupted on the 3rd floor of the building, and after operations by fire brigades, the situation came under control.
The Water Tanker Corporation declared an emergency on NIPA, Safari, and Landhi hydrants. Numerous tankers were dispatched to extinguish the fire. In-charge hydrant cells were in constant contact with the fire brigade, and their efforts helped to control the fire.
It is noteworthy that last week, a fire broke out in the Arshi Shopping Mall at Ayesha Manzil, where approximately 5 people lost their lives, and 3 others were injured. Several incidents of fire have occurred in the city of Karachi due to a lack of fire safety.
