COAS Asim Munir Meets Head of U.S. Central Commander Gen. Michael Erik Kurilla

Florida: Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir held a meeting with the Commander of the U.S. Central Command, General Kenneth Michael Erik Kurilla.

According to a statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), COAS Asim Munir, currently on an official visit to the United States, met with General Michael Kurilla at the U.S. Central Command Headquarters in Tampa Bay, Florida.

The ISPR statement further mentioned that General Asim Munir engaged in bilateral discussions, and discussed matters of shared interests. During the meeting, both generals deliberated on regional security issues and emphasized cooperation in the field.

Both sides exchanged views on joint training and underscored the need to enhance training relationships between the U.S. Central Command and the Pakistan Army.

COAS also visited the U.S. Centcom Joint Operations Center during the visit.
