Doha: In response to the Israeli blockade and intense bombings in the Gaza Strip, Qatar has sent three planes carrying 116 tons of humanitarian aid to Egypt.
According to a statement issued by the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it was mentioned that three planes of Qatar’s armed forces, laden with humanitarian aid for the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, have departed for the Egyptian city of Arish.
It is noteworthy that the 116-ton aid includes food, medicines, and equipment for setting up shelters. Qatar had previously sent 180 tons of humanitarian aid to Gaza on November 9 through four planes.
