Islamabad: The initiation of 5G technology in Pakistan is expected in July 2024.
The caretaker Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication, Dr. Omar Saif, announced that the availability of 5G internet in Pakistan is scheduled for next July, featuring the auction of the 300 MHz spectrum.
Speaking to the media, the federal minister stated that Pakistan would enhance its IT exports in the Middle East as three companies from Qatar have signed Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs).
He further mentioned that the government is actively working to address issues related to 5G for telecom operators.
