Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) is experiencing a significant upward trend, with the benchmark KSE-100 index reaching a new high of 64,000 milestone for the first time in history after gaining 352 points during initial trading.
According to the PSX website, around 9:43 AM, during the initial trading period, the KSE-100 index rose by 352.07 points or 0.55%, reaching 64,269. This comes after closing at 63,917 points yesterday.
It’s worth noting that the PSX witnessed a series of historic milestones yesterday (December 6), with the KSE-100 index reaching a new high of 63,000 points for the first time in history. On December 4, the KSE-100 index reached 62,493 points after an increase of 801.80 points or 1.3%. Similarly, on December 1, the KSE-100 index closed at 61,691 points after a gain of 1159.98 points.
