Islamabad: The President of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi, has stated that providing education to 28 million children who are out of school is a significant challenge.
According to details, a meeting related to mosques and madrasas was held under the presidency of Dr. Arif Alvi. The meeting was attended by the Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, the Chairman of the Islamic Ideological Council, provincial ministers, and representatives.
Addressing the meeting, President Dr. Arif Alvi expressed that approximately 28 million children in Pakistan cannot attend school. Joint efforts with mosques are required to provide education to these children.
The President mentioned that in Pakistan, nearly 28 million children cannot go to school, and collaborative efforts with mosques are necessary to provide them with education.
Dr. Arif Alvi emphasized that mosques can be utilized for literacy and educational purposes. Mosques and madrasas should raise awareness about local social and health issues. Providing education to 28 million out-of-school children is a significant challenge.
Furthermore, Dr. Arif Alvi stated that the respected religious scholars, through Friday sermons, should promote ethical values, integrity, peace, and interfaith harmony.
