New York: In the state of Vermont, USA, an armed extremist has critically injured three Palestinian students by opening fire.
According to international media, the shooting incident occurred on a street near the University of Vermont in Burlington, where an armed individual fired shots at three Palestinian students, ostensibly motivated by hatred, resulting in severe injuries.
The American police authorities state that two of the students had come to celebrate Thanksgiving at the residence of their third friend. After targeting the students with gunfire, the assailant fled the scene. The Palestinians are identified as Hisham Awartani, a junior at Brown University Friends School, and Kinnan Abdalhamid, a student at Haverford College in Pennsylvania, and Tahseen Ahmed from Trinity College in Connecticut.
According to police authorities, all three students are graduates of the Friends School in occupied Palestine and are around 20 years old. Two of them hold American citizenship, and one is legally residing in the U.S. At the time of the attack, all three students were wearing Palestinian scarves over Western clothes and were conversing with each other in Arabic.
