Islamabad: Imad Wasim, the all-rounder of the Pakistan national cricket team, has retired from international cricket.
In a tweet posted on a social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Imad Wasim mentioned that he has decided to retire from international cricket after much thought and consideration. He expressed gratitude to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for their support. Imad stated that he always felt honored and privileged to represent Pakistan.

He emphasized that with new coaches and leadership, there is an opportunity for the growth of Pakistan cricket. He extended his best wishes to the Pakistan team, and he thanked the Pakistani cricket fans for their continuous support.
It should be noted that Imad Wasim represented Pakistan in 55 One Day Internationals (ODIs) and 66 T20 Internationals (T20Is). In ODIs, he took 44 wickets, and in T20Is, he claimed 65 wickets. Imad scored 986 runs in ODIs and 486 runs in T20Is during his international cricket career.
