Scientists Invent New Passive Cooling of Buildings

Beijing: Scientists have discovered a new method to increase cooling in buildings, contributing to energy conservation.

According to news agencies, Chinese scientists have developed a new type of ceramic material for saving energy used in air conditioning systems. The utilization of this material can enhance cooling in buildings and assist in reducing the usage of air conditioners.

The experts explain that nearly ten percent of the world’s electricity is consumed by the cooling system, and to reduce this, researchers are actively working on developing new cooling technologies aimed at energy conservation.

According to scientific reports, Radiative Sky Cooling is a passive cooling technology that releases heat through a window of 8 to 13 micrometers. If the heat absorbed is greater than the solar energy received, Radiative Sky Cooling can be achieved during the day without any energy consumption.
