Gaza: The World Food Programme has stated that there is an urgent need for immediate food assistance for approximately 2.2 Million people in Gaza. Additionally, there is a demand for an immediate end to the conflict in the besieged area.
In a statement released on the social communication platform X, they said “Existing food systems are collapsing, and to reach those in need, WFP and our partners need increased access and resources like fuel, gas, and connectivity”.

World Food Programme has further emphasized that despite their swift efforts, they are facing challenges in acquiring bread and other essential food items in the Gaza Strip, and cases of water scarcity and nutritional deficiencies are escalating “day by day.”
