Islamabad: The government has announced a reduction of Rs. 2.04 in the price of petrol and Rs. 6.47 in the price of diesel.
According to the issued notification from the Ministry of Finance, there is a decrease of up to Rs. 9 in the prices of petroleum products, including a reduction of Rs. 2.04 in the price of petrol for the next 15 days, and a decrease of Rs. 6.47 in the price of high-speed diesel.
Furthermore, the price of light diesel has been reduced by Rs. 9.01, while the price of kerosene oil has seen a reduction of Rs. 6.05 per liter.
After the government’s announcement, the new per-liter price of petrol has come down from Rs. 283.38 to Rs. 281.34, and the high-speed diesel has gone down from Rs. 303.18 to Rs. 296.71.
According to the new prices, the cost of kerosene oil has reduced from Rs. 211.03 to Rs. 204.98, and the per-liter price of light diesel has decreased from Rs. 189.46 to Rs. 180.45.
These revised prices came into effect at midnight and will remain applicable for the next 15 days, as per the notification.
