Jerusalem: The rain, usually a blessing, has added to the difficulties of the besieged Palestinians in Gaza due to Israeli airstrikes.
According to media reports, while the rainfall became a source of relief for the besieged in Gaza, on the other hand, it also posed a severe challenge. The rain, coupled with Israeli airstrikes and the scarcity of water has prompted Palestinians to collect rainwater for consumption.
In the temporary makeshift camps established beneath the open sky for the besieged in Gaza, rainwater has entered, further complicating the lives of Palestinians. The rain has wet the meager food supplies, medicinal patches, and other essential items for the Palestinians.
It should be noted that over 700,000 besieged individuals in Gaza have sought refuge in 150 United Nations buildings. Global health organizations have expressed concerns that if an immediate ceasefire is not implemented, the rain in the camps could lead to the spread of various diseases.
