Quetta: The strike by tandoor owners is ongoing for the third day, causing difficulties for citizens due to the closure of tandoors in the city.

The association of tandoor owners in the provincial capital has stated that the strike will continue until their demands are met. They cannot sell 200 grams of bread for 25 rupees.

According to the President of the Association, Naeem Khilji, the Tandoor Association has fixed the price of 200 grams of bread at 35 rupees. It is not feasible for us to sell bread of such weight for 25 rupees. The strike will continue until our demands are met, he said.

On the other hand, due to the strike by tandoor owners, citizens, especially masons, office workers, school workers, and especially those who have come to Quetta for labor work from other cities and towns, face increased difficulties.
